Control Your Narrative’s Future In Doubt As Fans Contacted About Refunds

EC3 and Braun Strowman launched a Fight Club-inspired promotion called Control Your Narrative in early 2022 and announced a massive 24-show tour beginning on October 13 in San Antonio, Texas. However, just days after Strowman made his WWE return, it appears the promotion’s future is in question, as fans have been receiving emails about arranging refunds. And when you try to buy tickets for any future shows, it says, “There are no upcoming events.” And while this isn’t confirmation they are closing, it isn’t a good sign for the promotion’s future.

Critics of the promotion dubbed CYN as pro wrestling for MAGA hats, and they received a lot of negativity online. The biggest issue, though, was their shows failed to draw particularly well, despite having name talents like Austin Aries, Killian Dain, Karrion Kross, Wesley Blake, Flip Gordon, and Sarah Logan, in addition to EC3 and Strowman appearing. Additionally, their hyped-up television deal was actually a newly launched app nobody had previously heard of, so it seems unlikely they attracted many new fans via that. Nevertheless, on a positive note, they do appear to be handling their business professionally when it comes to refunding fans, which should buy them some goodwill if they decide to run again.
