Concerning Update Regarding Seth Rollins’ Injury Status

Seth Rollins hurt his knee during his match with Jinder Mahal on this past Monday’s episode of Raw. And while it’s known he was scheduled to have an MRI scan to check the severity, at present, the results aren’t publicly known. However, it has now been reported by PWInsider.com that the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion has been taken off this weekend’s house shows in Montgomery, Alabama, and Jackson, Mississippi, which can only be taken as a bad sign. Instead, Randy Orton will be taking his spot in the main event.

37-year-old Rollins has been WWE’s World Heavyweight Championship since winning the title at last May’s Night Of Champions in a tournament final against AJ Styles. Since then, he has been the definition of a fighting champion, defending the belt frequently against a host of challengers. Yet, it now appears his historic reign as inaugural champion could be over sooner than many anticipated.
