Most professional wrestlers enjoy meeting fans, although it’s not always appropriate, such as when they are with their families or eating. However, based on comments made by multiple talents over the years, the most loathed time is when they are at the airport or at their hotel.
And now, having addressed this issue on social media in the past, CM Punk has returned to his Instagram Stories to blast fans who fail to respect boundaries, likening them to stalkers.
While some genuine fans attend airports hoping to meet their heroes, it’s believed the vast majority are eBay sellers looking to cash in via autographed items. This is known because videos have been shared on social media showing wrestlers having action figures and photographs forced in front of them to sign, which sickened most fans. However, as long as people are willing to purchase autographed items acquired in this manner, it seems unlikely that these sellers will change their methods.
