Chelsea Green made her SmackDown debut nine months ago, in what was her first match in six months. She was a surprise participant in a fatal 4-Way Survivor Series Qualifying Match and booked to win. But unfortunately, things went wrong when she was dropkicked off the ring apron by Liv Morgan, and upon landing on the ringside mats, broke her left wrist. With her set to win, an audible had to be called, and Morgan would instead get the victory.
Having since being released by WWE this past April, she is currently sharing many behind-the-scenes stories on her Green With Envy podcast. And this week, she explained that she twice requested permission from WWE to have surgery breast augmentation surgery. WWE would, though, decline despite her not being on television at the time, which she said made her bitter. Nonetheless, following her SmackDown injury, she decided to do it anyway.
So I broke my arm, and I thought, I’m not even joking, one of the first thoughts I had while I’m in the emergency room. I thought you know what? F*ck ’em, I’m getting boobs. So, I have surgery on my broken arm that night, November 13th or 14th, and I get out of surgery, and my first call was to the plastic surgeon.
She’d go on to discuss how nerve-racking it was due to not telling WWE, and she would turn up to the Performance Center wearing a baggy sweater. However, due to her being released before making her comeback, the company never found out. Although she would add that she has purposely waited until her 90-day non-compete expired before publicly announcing this.
Green is currently proving there is life after WWE, with her diary full. At present, she is working with Ring of Honor, Impact Wrestling, and Billy Corgan’s NWA simultaneously. Although the belief is, she would love to return to WWE. Yet, given this disclosure, WWE management may be reluctant to give her another opportunity.
