Former WCW star Buff Bagwell sustained serious injuries in a 2020 car crash caused by being impaired by prescribed medication. This would result in him suffering multiple broken bones and ruptures, leaving him needing more than a dozen surgeries. Yet despite it being hoped he would eventually make a full recovery, he recently had to have his leg amputated. And now, having undergone this surgery, Bagwell has taken to his YouTube channel to show off his new prosthetic leg, with it being known that he hopes to resume wrestling.

55-year-old Bagwell began wrestling in 1990, with his big break coming the following year when WCW signed him. However, despite achieving great success in WCW, once the promotion was purchased by Vince McMahon, his career in mainstream wrestling effectively came to an end. This was due to WWE releasing him shortly afterward, following two underwhelming performances against Booker T and an altercation with Shane Helms, prompting Bagwell to transition into being a male escort.
