Back in 2020, Buff Bagwell was involved in a serious car accident due to being impaired by prescription medications. This would result in him suffering multiple broken bones, tears, and ruptures, and left him needing more than a dozen surgeries. And now he has sadly taken to YouTube to disclose that despite fighting to save his leg, he has made the decision to have his leg amputated, with it subsequently confirmed on Facebook that hee has already undergone the operation.
55-year-old Bagwell broke into the business in 1990, with his big break coming the following year when he was signed by WCW, thanks to his impressive look and undeniable charisma. However, despite achieving great success in WCW, once the promotion was purchased by Vince McMahon, his career in mainstream wrestling would effectively end. This was because WWE released him shortly afterward due to two poorly received matches with Booker T and an altercation with Shane Helms.
