Bubba the Love Sponge caused a great deal of panic after stating on his radio show that his former best friend, Hulk Hogan, was on his deathbed. Yet TMZ would promptly squash this story, reporting that while Hogan had been hospitalized, it was for neck and back issues and, therefore, not life-threatening. Still, the controversial radio host isn’t backing down, and after speaking about the situation on and off all morning, he has revealed that Hogan has been on a ventilator due to having problems breathing.
59-year-old Bubba, whose real name is Todd Clem, was once thought to be Hulk Hogan’s closest friend, which led to his involvement in the wrestling business through TNA. However, the pair fell out after Bubba secretly filmed his wife, Heather Clem, in bed with the WWE legend, which was later leaked. Subsequently, Hogan filed a lawsuit against the Clem’s for invading his privacy, and following a settlement, Bubba publicly apologized to Hogan.
