After it was noted that Brooke Hogan had missed her father’s wedding to Sky Daily, it became known that she hadn’t spoken to her family since 2023. However, TMZ recently revealed that despite becoming estranged, Brooke still gave her daughter the middle name “Gene,” in homage to her father. And now, following his sad passing, Brooke has taken to Instagram to reminisce about growing up as the WWE legend’s daughter, and revealed her husband tried to get the pair talking again.
At one point, it appeared Brooke was destined for stardom herself, having pursued both a singing and acting career, which Hulk supported financially and in terms of publicity. Still, at some point, Brooke decided this wasn’t the life she wanted and stepped away from the spotlight to start her own design company. Additionally, she met and married former NHL player Steven Oleksy in 2022, and three years later welcomed Molly and Oliver to the world.
