Brock Lesnar Reportedly “P*ssed Off” & Left SmackDown After Finding Out About Vince McMahon’s Retirement

On Friday afternoon, WWE issued a press release announcing Vince McMahon was retiring from the company he made a household name. And since then, it has been confirmed talent was not made aware much ahead of time, with McMahon just sending them a message confirming he was leaving but adding he’ll be watching SmackDown tonight. Seemingly though, this has left Brock Lesnar unimpressed as, according to Bryan Alvarez of F4Wonline.com, after he learned of this news, he promptly left SmackDown. This was followed by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com, adding the former UFC star was “p*ssed off.

At this point, it is pure speculation regarding Lesnar’s WWE status. However, with SummerSlam just over a week away and him set for the main event, it is massive news if he has quit the company. Of course, calmer heads could prevail. Still, it’s known Lesnar and McMahon have had a close working relationship after he made a shock return to the company in 2012, and he perhaps feels he should have been told personally.
