Bray Wyatt Was Reportedly Released By WWE Because His “Push Went To His Head”

WWE shockingly released Brya Wyatt on July 31, 2021, which ended his 12-year year run with the company. Initial reports would claim it was due to budgetary cuts, and considering he was earning a speculated $4 million a year, on the surface, that seemed believable. Yet, it would later come out that he often clashed with Vince McMahon over what he considered poor creative. Nevertheless, no definitive reason has ever been established with Wyatt nor anyone in power at WWE speaking about the circumstances.

Now though, Ringside News has reported what they claim is the actual reason WWE released Wyatt. And while the site is often criticized for its tabloid-style and clickbait headlines, they have broken multiple stories over the years and are saying that WWE had analytical proof The Fiend character was damaging other characters. Additionally, Wyatt had allowed his push to go to his head, with him believing he was a modern-day Undertaker.

He killed babyface Rollins and babyface Miz and there are analytics that document this. Plus, the push went to his head and he thought he was modern day Undertaker. Except once Taker got on top, he started making any other top star he worked with. Bray doesn’t know how to do that and the gimmick doesn’t lend to it.Ringside News

While he has teased speaking about his release, Wyatt has so far remained silent, and it will be massive news once he does break his silence. Although it’s thought at present, he sees his future in movies and has already filmed one which is yet to be fully announced. He did, though, recently excite fans on social media after changing his Twitter display name to “Wyatt 6” and using a butterfly profile photo that clearly showed The Fiend. Yet, if Ringside News is accurate, a WWE return seems unlikely.
