In 2019, Bray Wyatt made his return to a WWE ring after an extended hiatus as The Fiend. His entrance music was revamped by Pittsburgh metalcore band, Code Orange. The band had a previous history with WWE having played Aleister Black to the ring during 2017’s NXT Takeover.

Wyatt recently returned to the WWE again for the first time in a year and came out to a new Code Orange song called “Shatter.”

“I lost my career, I lost two people who were very, very close to me, and I lost my way,” an emotional Wyatt said In the ring. “I got to a point where I thought that everything that I’d ever done here was all meaningless, that nothing I ever did has mattered to anyone. And I was wrong.”

He continued: “I am incredibly grateful. I’m really, really nervous to be here. I never thought this would happen. This right here, this is just me OK? This is a version of me I never got to introduce to you guys before. This is just me being me – genuine me – for the first time.”

Fans have reached out to  Code Orange on social media for an official release of the song. Code Orange have yet to release details on when the song might be available but they did tease potential new followers by posting a link to their merchandise store for anyone “just joining us,” before adding “buy some sh*t and we’ll drop it,” in regards to the new song.

Code Orange formed in 2008 in Pittsburgh and have been nominated for two Grammy Awards for Best Metal Performance. According to Scott Tady of Kill Your Stereo, “Code Orange takes…hardcore/metalcore and bleeds them over with modern industrial and bleak electronics, with the occasional alternative-rock detour…creating an almost-experimental sound that’s both familiar yet futuristic.”
