Braun Strowman Takes Shot At “Floppy Floppers” After Having Passable Match At Crown Jewel

On Saturday’s Crown Jewel show, Braun Strowman wrestled fellow giant Omos in a match that wouldn’t have been out of place in 1987 WWF. And subsequently, Strowman has received compliments from fans for delivering a better-than-expected match. And truth be told, it was far superior in every way to the duds he’s had with Goldberg, Bray Wyatt, and Tyson Fury in the past.

Yet, rather than sitting back and enjoying the praise, in typical Strowman style, he has decided to take to Twitter and try to rile up wrestling fans by claiming the match he had was better than “floppy floppers,” seemingly referring to high-flying wrestlers that are typically praised for putting on matches on more entertaining contests than he is capable. He would also seemingly mock people who bag groceries, appearing to believe they are beneath him. However, our very own Chris Jericho would hilariously respond to this, acknowledging he used to do that.

Strowman is no stranger to controversy on social media and has made himself look foolish on multiple occasions. An example of this was when he posted a photo on Instagram with a visible syringe, later claiming he takes B12 vitamin shots due to caffeine sensitivity. Additionally, he would insult a fan who called his promotion of Control Your Narrative “based” due to not knowing what it meant. Later claiming CYN would outlast AEW just days before canceling their much-hyped upcoming tour. Therefore it’s difficult to take anything he says seriously, and one can only hope he is working everyone with his tweets in an attempt to have a worse social media presence than Ryback.
