To say that Bray Wyatt’s return to WWE failed to live up to expectations would be an understatement. And now, two-time WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has shared his take on the situation during his podcast. With the WCW legend putting it down on him not delivering in the ring, noting that while storylines are great, there needs to be an in-ring payoff, which hasn’t been happening with Wyatt.
This Firefly Funhouse thing and the magic, you can only take it so far, the fans are looking to see a good match. That’s what this business has been predicated on since day one, storylines have always been great, but the payoffs. I think that’s the problem that Bray Wyatt has had, being that magical creature and not being able to go out there and, I wouldn’t even call them five-star matches or anything like that, but just really good matches, I think that’s what’s held Bray Wyatt back more than anything.
Booker TWyatt is currently on hiatus from television due to suffering from an unknown medical situation. And while he isn’t listed on any internal WWE rosters, seemingly indicating he isn’t set for an imminent return, it is believed he remains in good standing with the company. Therefore it should just be a case of him getting medically cleared before he and his brother Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy return to television.
