Bobby Lashley hasn’t wrestled since the Casino Gauntlet match for the inaugural AEW National Championship in November 2025, and reports indicate this is because he has been dealing with an injury. Yet, it appears he is set to return to the ring sooner rather than later, having told Monopoly Events, “I’m healed. Everybody thought I was hurt, but I’m not hurt. You can’t hurt the Almighty. Ready to go.” Precisely when he’ll return to television isn’t known, but given his star status, he could still be part of AEW’s next pay-per-view event, Revolution, on March 15.
“Right now, they’re pulling me up. They’re yanking me back in and saying, ‘It’s time. We’re ready to get back out there and win some titles.’ I’m healed. Everybody thought I was hurt, I’m not hurt. You can’t hurt the Almighty. Ready to go.” – Bobby Lashley
49-year-old Lashley signed with All Elite Wrestling in September 2024 after departing WWE, dramatically debuting at Fright Night Dynamite on October 30, attacking Swerve Strickland and reuniting with MVP and Shelton Benjamin to form The Hurt Syndicate. The next month, he would make his in-ring debut, dominating a 2-1 handicap match, and proving he was going to be positioned a as a top talent. From there, he and Benjamin captured the AEW World Tag Team Championships in just his sixth AEW match, marking his first AEW title, confirming Tony Khan wasn’t going to waste any time getting a return on his investment.
