While it appears that Bobby Fish’s run in the big leagues is over, having parted ways with WWE, AEW, and TNA in recent years, he still regularly wrestles, with MLW being his current home promotion. However, in unfortunate news, he has revealed on Instagram that he is currently dealing with a hamstring injury and doesn’t have health insurance to assist him. Whether this will keep him out of the ring for long is unknown, but surgery is sometimes required for the most serious types of this injury.
48-year-old Fish is best known for his wrestling career, although he still trains for MMA and boxing. Still, he hasn’t competed professionally since defeating Boateng Prempeh by second-round stoppage in 2022, indicating that professionally boxing was something he just wanted to tick off his bucket list. Somewhat amusingly, the bout gained some mainstream attention at the time because Fish attempted a pro wrestling move, having seemingly forgotten what type of ring he was in.
