TNA’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view got much attention on Saturday night due to the promotion returning to its former name. Additionally, it was known multiple surprises were planned, with Dana Brooke and Dolph Ziggler delivering on these. However, another hot topic of conversation has been that both Mercedes Moné and Bayley were spotted in the crowd. Yet it should be noted it isn’t anticipated either woman will be wrestling for the promotion anytime soon, as it’s believed they were simply there to watch close friend Trinity in one of her final matches for the company.
Trinity, better known as Naomi for her time in WWE, has been with TNA since last April. And while presented as one of its biggest stars, it was recently revealed she is headed back to WWE in the coming weeks, possibly as soon as the Royal Rumble. That would, therefore, explain why she dropped the TNA Knockouts World Championship to Jordynne Grace during the show, although a rematch has since been teased by Trinity on her social media.
