During an interview with TV Insider, Liv Morgan revealed she is a massive fan of the Child’s Play franchise. Adding, she was hoping that with Raw, NXT, and the new Chucky show being on the USA Network, something could be arranged for her to be killed off on the show. Subsequently, it was revealed that she had a role in the second season, and her episode would air last night. And now the WWE YouTube channel has shared behind-the-scenes footage demonstrating Liv Morgan wearing a prosthetic stomach featuring her mole and revealing she was in control of Chucky’s hand as he stabbed her.
The serial killer doll has his own pro wrestling history, having appeared in WCW to advertise Bride of Chucky in 1998 during a segment with Rick Steiner and Mean Gene. He would then return to NXT last year to promote the first season of Chucky during the feud between Steiner’s son Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa. Since then, he has also appeared on two NXT Halloween Havoc shows, assisting set up the spin-the-wheel-make-deal matches. However, whether he makes a third such appearance very much could depend on whether his series gets renewed.
