According to a tweet by ESPN’s Shams Charania, Dennis Rodman, the eccentric NBA Hall of Famer and rebounding legend known for his pivotal role in the Chicago Bulls’ 1990s dynasty, will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the 2026 class. The ceremony takes place on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas, ahead of WrestleMania 42, and will also feature Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles, and Demolition.
64-year-old Rodman, who famously skipped an NBA Finals practice for one match, had a brief wrestling career, mostly in WCW from 1997 to 1999. At Bash at the Beach 1997, he and Hollywood Hogan lost to Lex Luger & The Giant, then at 1998’s Bash at the Beach, Rodman and Hogan reteamed to defeat DDP and Karl Malone, capitalizing on the NBA Finals rivalry. His final WCW outing saw him lose a chaotic hardcore match to Randy Savage at Road Wild 1999. Additionally, Rodman wrestled Curt Hennig three times in 2000 for Australia’s i-Generation Wrestling.
