Backstage News On R-Truth’s Shocking WWE Return

Last weekend, the wrestling world was stunned when R-Truth announced on X that he had been released by WWE. Subsequently, it would come out that his departure was actually due to his contract expiring, but the end result was the same. Regardless of the circumstances, fans were far from happy with this, and “We Want Truth” would be chanted in arenas and posted online.

Therefore, fans were delighted when the beloved wrestler returned at the conclusion of Money In The Bank to attack John Cena but were left wondering whether it had all been an elaborate angle. In the past, a handful of wrestlers have been rehired after departing WWE due to fan backlash, with Matt Hardy and The Blue Meanie being two of the most high-profile examples. This proves that, on occasion, WWE listens to fans, but in the case of R-Truth, it doesn’t want to publicly acknowledge it.
