WWE appears to be in the process of locking down their most prominent stars to new contracts. As following the news that both Dominik and Rey Mysterio recently re-signed with the company, it has now been reported by Fightful Select that Charlotte Flair has also inked a new deal, which is apparently for multiple years.
“Fightful has learned that Charlotte Flair agreed to a contract extension with WWE recently that will keep her with WWE for several more years.”
Fighful Select37-year-old Flair is currently sidelined through injury, having suffered severe damage to her knee two weeks ago on SmackDown. The belief is that she will subsequently miss at least nine months, which is a massive blow for both herself and the company. Still, given her new contract, she can at least focus on fully recovering without being concerned about her long-term future.
