In news that won’t shock many people, according to a report by Cultaholic, former WWE star Matt Riddle failed to appear at an event in the UK this past Sunday. Why Riddle decided not to attend hasn’t yet been confirmed, but it’s understood he was spotted backstage at the inaugural Real American Freestyle’s show the day before. To make matters worse, the event was raising money for charity, and refunds had to be given, with it noted that Riddle has yet to return his deposit.
39-year-old Riddle has repeatedly been described as his own worst enemy, and when he was asked about failing to show up to events in the past, he would dismissively state, “If I miss 5 shows out of 100 in a year, eat it. I don’t care.” Obviously, this is a terrible attitude to have, especially when deposits have been paid. Although his recently launched OnlyFans account has apparently been making him big money, suggesting he may soon no longer need pro wrestling to make a living.
