Last year, it was reported that Charlotte Flair and Andrade El Idolo were separated and in the process of getting divorced. This would shock and disappoint fans who had hoped Flair had finally found the one after two prior divorces. And now, in a new candid interview with Sportkeeda, Andrade has taken full responsibility for the divorce, calls his now ex-wife “amazing” multiple times, and goes on to say, “It was my fault. She didn’t lose me. I lost her.”
The wrestling stars first began dating in 2019 while both were in WWE, and were soon engaged. Subsequently, they married in a lavish ceremony in Mexico in May 2022 and appeared blissfully happy for two years. However, nobody really knows what happens behind closed doors, and while the reason for their divorce remains private, it is understood they remain on good terms.
