An Unexpected Name Was Backstage At Raw In Nashville

With this past Monday’s episode of Raw taking place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, it was confirmed by multiple sources on the night that former TNA President Dixie Carter, who lives in the area, was backstage. It’s understood she had been invited by Bruce Prichard, who worked for her in TNA, and now she has shared photos taken at the event on X with a selection of WWE talents who previously competed for her.

While Carter is often criticized for her time in TNA, she did save the promotion from going out of business after HealthSouth Corporation cut its financial support. At the time, Carter convinced her parents, who owned Panda Energy International, to purchase 71% of TNA for $250,000. She would subsequently become TNA President and an on-air performer, but after the TNA failed to challenge WWE, her parents ended their investment.
