Jon Huber, better known to fans as Brodie Lee and Luke Harper was hospitalized in October 2020 with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and tragically died from the illness two months later, aged just 41. This news would devastate countless fans who had watched him in WWE and AEW, although even more heartbreakingly, he left behind a wife and two young children. And now, on what would have been his 45th birthday, his widow Amanda has acknowledged the special day on X, saying she wishes she could thank him for their sons.
Amanda is a former pro wrestler herself, having previously competed under the name Synndy Synn between 2004 and 2007, principally in the New York area, even sharing the ring with her future husband on multiple occasions. The loved-up couple would go on to marry in 2011 and went on to have two sons, Brodie and Nolan, with their eldest child, Brodie, having already signed a contract with AEW, allowing him to join the promotion when he turns 18 should he wish.
