Alexa Bliss Fires Back At Claim Fans Were Leaving During Her Raw Segment

The third hour of Raw kicked off with an Alexa’s Playground segment featuring Charlotte Flair. First, Flair would say that Bliss is barely a competitor nowadays, and Bliss would go on to mock her for bragging about how many titles she’s won, which also illustrates how many she has lost. Eventually, the pair would get into a brawl, and Charlotte would rip the head off the Charly doll Bliss is now carrying. Then when Flair went to apparently do the same to the Lilly doll, but Bliss would intervene with a Tornado DDT.

It was certainly more sports entertainment than pro wrestling, and despite not being evident on television, Dave Meltzer has reported that fans left in droves during this segment. He would specifically state that 1,500 of the almost 8,000 fans in attendance decided the segment was their cue to leave, and you can listen to him state this during the excerpt from his Wrestling Observer Radio show below.

However, after seeing reports of this, Bliss has fired back at Meltzer, initially tweeting, “Haha yeah get outta here dirtsheets lol find click bait somewhere else.” She would, though, delete that tweet and instead tweeted that Meltzer was lying and that it didn’t happen.

Sorry Meltzer (or whatever) you can’t get clout off of our segment … move on ✌🏻 #StopLying #LitterallyDidntHappen #YoureEmbarassingYourselfAlexa Bliss

While Dave Meltzer is one of the most respected wrestling journalists in the industry, having covered the business since the 1980s, it is hard to believe many that people left the arena. Especially when you consider that there was a huge triple threat match between Universal Champion Roman Reigns, WWE Champion Big E, and Bobby Lashley was scheduled for the main event. It will now be interesting to see Meltzer goes on to elaborate on where he got his information from.
