Attitude Era star Al Snow has seemingly addressed the recent OVW referee Dallas Edwards controversy in a cryptic tweet, conceding how insincere relationships flourish in success but vanish amid adversity. Who this was targeted at is unclear, but Snow has been heavily criticized online for how poorly OVW officials handled the Edwards situation, especially the extremely delayed response in getting medical help.
For those unaware, referee Edwards suffered a seizure, concussion, and subdural hematoma during OVW’s television taping last week after he took a blow to the head. And while accidents regularly occur in matches, some have called the fact that wrestlers moved him aside amid convulsions total negligence. High-profile critics have since slammed the “show must go on” attitude demonstrated, with former OVW co-owner Jim Cornette ripping the current OVW leadership, including Snow, for the way they handled the situation. Still, it should be noted that both OVW and Snow have pledged to change and improve their existing protocols.
