Back in 2018, AEW’s Leila Grey appeared in the music video for Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny’s song “Mia,” demonstrating she has talent beyond pro wrestling. And now, nine months after she released her own first single, Grey is back with “Right Way,” which she co-wrote and can be viewed on YouTube.
Grey, real name Catherine Guzma, broke into the wrestling business in 2020 via the indies and, less than six months after debuting, was already working for AEW, sharing a ring with names like Tay Conti, Penelope Ford, and Abadon. From here, she became part of Jade Cargill’s stable, The Baddies, taking the spot of Red Velvet, who was injured.
However, while the group showed plenty of potential, they would quietly disband once Cargill opted to leave AEW, resulting in Grey being repackaged as the valet of Top Flight, which has since evolved to “Sky Flight” following the alliance of Christopher Daniels and Scorpio Sky.
