AEW Makes Announcement On Collision Theme

No one can deny that when it comes to getting well-known songs for their company, its television programs and talent, All Elite Wrestling has been a torchbearer within the wrestling industry. This past week, AEW began using The Pointer Sisters’ “I’m So Excited” as the new theme for Dynamite, adding to their long history of licensing hit songs. The company has previously ponied up for tunes by Guns ’N Roses, Jefferson Starship, Kansas, Europe, Pantera and Metallica, among several others.

For its Saturday night show, Collision, AEW originally used the Elton John classic “Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting” before switching to an in-house produced song, “Red Light Is On (Let’s Go)” in July of last year.

Now, to coincide with the company’s new media rights deal, AEW President Tony Khan has announced that for 2025, Collision will revert back to its original theme of Elton John. Saturday’s show will feature The Learning Tree vs. Rated FTR, Daniel Garcia vs. Mark Briscoe, Deonna Purrazzo vs. Toni Storm and Private Party vs. Action Andretti and Lio Rush for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
