Additional Details Reported Regarding Jeff Hardy’s Latest DUI Arrest

As of Monday afternoon, Jeff Hardy is incarcerated in Florida after being arrested for DUI on Sunday night/Monday morning, with it understood he will be in court on Tuesday. Now with reporters, including Marc Raimondi, beginning to dig into the circumstances, more information is being revealed with it now known that Hardy had been performing a music concert at a Dave & Busters in Orlando.

Seemingly he would drink excessively during this time, as following the concert, while driving to his hotel, he was pulled over by the police due to swerving in the road. Arresting officers say they smelt alcohol and described him in the police report as “in a stupor and confused.” A breathalyzer test would follow, and Hardy was found to be 3.7 times the legal limit, with blood-alcohol levels being 0.294 and 0.291.

Neither AEW nor Tony Khan has commented on Hardy’s arrest as of writing. However, when promoting this Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite on Twitter, no mention of the tag team ladder match he was set to wrestle in was mentioned. Therefore it appears the bout is off entirely or will simply become Jurassic Express vs. The Young Bucks once a new graphic is prepared. Yet, for Hardy, his AEW status is likely at the bottom of his concerns, as there is a genuine belief that he could receive a prison sentence, having been arrested three times in ten years for DUI.
