Adam Cole Reveals Concerning Information Regarding His Broken Ankle

Adam Cole is currently sidelined due to breaking his ankle in three places after he jumped off the entrance ramp while coming to MJF’s aid. And while it was known he would require surgery and miss considerable time, he has now disclosed during his Twitch stream that he will actually need two operations to repair the damage. Additionaly, revealing that he will end up with eight screws and a plate in his ankle.

“My ankle is broken. When it’s all said and done, when I’m eventually able to get everything all fixed, I’m going to need to get two surgeries, and it will be a total of eight screws and a plate in my ankle.”

34-year-old Cole hasn’t had the best of fortune with injuries since joining AEW, as he missed nine months from the ring after suffering a career-threatening concussion at Forbidden Door in 2022. Still, he bravely battled back from this, proving his resiliency, and there is no reason to believe he won’t be able to make another such comeback, even if it does take even longer this time.
