TNA Hall of Famer Abyss is back in the news after he was made available to download for WWE’s yearly video game, sparking speculation that he could potentially wrestle a match on WWE television. However, the 51-year-old, who has worked as a producer for the company since 2019, has now stayed that he considers himself retired during an interview with Fightful Select, although he was sure to say, “Never say never.”
Abyss, real name Christopher Park broke into the business in 1995, and after several years of working under names such as Original Terminator, Chris Justice, and Prince Justice, he was given the Abyss gimmick by Dutch Mantel while working in Puerto Rico. Subsequently, he would go on to join TNA, where he worked for 17 years, even turning down WWE during this time. And while many questioned that decision at the time, Abyss seemingly preferred to be a big fish in a small pond.
