The 59-year-old faces serious charges of first-degree assault and armed criminal action stemming from a June 2024 stabbing incident at a Kansas City Love’s Travel Stop, where he worked as a security guard. Scaggs has pleaded not guilty, claiming he acted in self-defense during the altercation.
