As soon as it was announced that WWE was merging with UFC’s parent company, Endeavor, many experts speculated it would mean job cuts, and subsequently, over 100 employees, including Dana Warrior, were laid off once the deal was complete. And now it has been reported by Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston that additional redundancies were made on Friday, although how many wasn’t confirmed.
As of writing, the only on-screen talent known to have been let go has been McKenzie Mitchell, who was an NXT backstage interviewer, although obviously, there is now concern amongst fans that more could soon follow.
