In unexpected news, WWE has released backstage NXT interviewer McKenzie Mitchell, who is also the wife of commentator Vic Joseph, from her contract. She announced this herself on X on Friday morning with no reason given, but seems to be taking it well based on her comments. Mitchell signed with WWE back in September 2019, having previously worked for Impact Wrestling, Fox Sports West, and Fan Girl Sports.
