In news that has rocked wrestling fans on social media, Brock Lesnar Guy, real name Michael Corcoran, has announced his retirement from attending shows. In a dramatic X post, the wrestling superfan has declared the end of his 25-year streak attending live shows, citing a need to focus on new priorities. This now makes Green Shirt Guy the new top superfan in the business, although no one has yet come close to Vladimir Abouzeide’s status, who WWE honored in a documentary.
Corcoran rose to internet stardom in 2012 when cameras captured his ecstatic, wide-eyed imitation of Brock Lesnar’s entrance pose during the former UFC Champion’s surprise WWE return on Raw after WrestleMania 28. Subsequently, he became a front-row staple at nearly every major WWE and even some AEW events, always in the same distinctive shirt. However, after Lesnar was implicated in Janel Grant’s scandalous lawsuit, Corcoran would briefly change his name to “I’m That Guy,” seemingly wanting to distance himself from his hero.
