William Regal made his AEW debut at this past weekend’s Revolution pay-per-view aligning himself with both Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson and would follow up with an interview on Dynamite. Unfortunately, while the interview was excellent and full of emotion, it would be reported that Regal went over his allocated time, and afterward, AEW had to revise the rest of the show. Now confirming this, Regal has taken to Twitter saying he had personally apologized to his new colleagues for going long.
It’s understood the floor manager was trying to get Regal to wrap up, but he seemingly didn’t notice, as it’s highly doubtful he would have purposely ignored them. Given he is new to the company, it’s understandable he would be worried that his new AEW co-workers are angry with him. Still, it seems unlikely anyone would hold it against him in the long term, considering how respected he is for his work in the ring as well as backstage.
