What WWE Talent Has Been Told To Do Following The Latest Shocking Vince McMahon Allegations

On Thursday, WWE and their parent company, TKO Group Holding, were rocked when a lawsuit claiming Vince McMahon abused his power to take advantage of a former female employee went public. Nevertheless, McMahon has since denied these allegations via a spokesperson, although the court of public opinion has already seemingly condemned him on social media.

Therefore, with the Royal Rumble on Saturday, many fans have been wondering how WWE Superstars will respond to questions regarding this situation during their pre-arranged media obligations. And now, Dave Meltzer, in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, has reported talents have been told to “lay low” and only talk about the event and their own storylines.

“WWE talent was told to lay low and not talk about anything other than the Royal Rumble or storyline related things.”

Following news of the lawsuit going public, TKO issued their own statement to Variety before McMahon’s, where they clearly tried to distance themselves from him while calling the allegations “horrific” and confirming they would be addressing the claims internally. Therefore, many expect 78-year-old McMahon’s time at WWE and TKO to possibly end shortly. However, the disgraced billionaire has consistently proven he is up for a fight, so nothing is guaranteed.
