In shocking news, Jonathan Gresham revealed four months ago on social media that he had suffered two strokes. This was obviously devastating news for the 37-year-old, who is currently best known to some fans for being the husband of NXT’s Jordynne Grace. Still, the former Ring of Honor Champion appears to be heading towards recovering as he has now been announced he will be wrestling on Jersey Championship Wrestling’s February shows.
Gresham was trained by former WWE and WCW wrestler Curtis Hughes and spent over a decade on the indies before signing with ROH under their former owners in 2017. Since then, he has established himself as one of the top in-ring performers in the business, holding the promotions’ World Championship, Pure Championship, and World Tag Team Championship alongside Jay Lethal. However, once Tony Khan took over the company, Gresham would end up asking for his release, apparently due to his dissatisfaction with his lack of creative input.
