On last night’s Raw episode, Jeff Hardy defeated Elias in what was billed as a Symphony of Destruction match. It was an innovative concept that featured the wrestlers using instruments as weapons and a spot where Elias was electrocuted by a speaker. The finish would be Hardy placing Elias on a table outside the ring and then hitting him with a Swanton Bomb off the top of the corner post. Scarily, Hardy struck the ring steps with his head during the impact, as you can see below.

It isn’t known if someone was supposed to move the steps or they weren’t taken into account when the spot was planned, but regardless it seemed inevitable that Hardy would have suffered a concussion. Thankfully though, that wasn’t the case because according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, he was checked after the match and deemed to be OK. Johnson also added that WWE’s medics will continue to monitor Hardy.
