If it weren’t for Rona, Batista would already be a WWE Hall of Famer, having been announced for the Class of 2020. However, he would miss out due to the ceremony being postponed and then becoming virtual in 2021. Some claim his schedule didn’t work for the new date, while others allege he turned down 2021 due to no fans attending.
Nevertheless, it was assumed he’d be inducted with the Class of 2023, with WrestleMania being in Hollywood. Now though, it’s been reported by PWInsider.com that Batista won’t be inducted this year, as he will be filming the second My Spy movie in South Africa. Thus, it appears the previously announced Rey Mysterio will be the headliner.
