Legendary ’80s rockers Twisted Sister announced earlier this year that they were reuniting for their 50th anniversary with a series of live shows in 2026. The announcement came nine years after their “40 And F*ck It” farewell tour.
Over the weekend, frontman Dee Snider was signing autographs and taking pictures with fans at Steel City Con in Pittsburgh, but he revealed that he’s dealing with a potentially scary situation when it comes to appearing in public. “Heading to @SteelcityCon in Pittsburg for a weekend of signing and photos with my pals Geezer Butler and Bruce Dickinson!” Snider wrote via X. “Should be fun. Plus I have a stalker who has been swearing she is going to kill me and drink my blood so, there’s that…”
One of Snider’s followers expressed concern for the singer asking if he was OK. He replied: “So far so good. The police served her today. I get threats all the time (shocker), but this has been going on for many months and getting progressively more intense. She’s already been escorted out of venues. I used to blow this stuff off…but these are different times :(“
When another follower suggested he make sure his security was in place, Snider said: “When you make these public appearances you meet people up close, signing and taking photos. I have an armed professional standing right next to me watching every single person. I engage everyone like I always do but woe be the idiot who makes a wrong move.”
