Triple H & Stephanie McMahon Publicly Apologize To Mickie James

Mickie James was one of ten wrestlers released by WWE last week, and on Thursday, she shared a photo on Twitter with her belongs returned to her in a trash bag. This caused several fans to criticize WWE over this and prompted both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to apologize on Twitter and reveal the person responsible has been fired.

Upon learning of the disrespectful treatment some of our recently released talent received on behalf of the company, we took immediate action. The person responsible for this inconsiderate action has been fired and is no longer with @WWE.Triple H
.@MickieJames I am embarrassed you or anyone else would be treated this way. I apologize personally and on behalf of @WWE. The person responsible is no longer with our company. Stephanie McMahon

It’s understood the person let go was Mark Carrano, who was formally Senior Director of Talent Relations and is best known to fans for appearing on Total Divas. He had been with the company for several years, and it’s believed he was already on borrowed time after John Laurinaitis was brought in to run his department. Since James shared her tweet, both Maria Kanellis and Jillian Hall have revealed they had received similar treatment when let go by the company. So with Hall having been released over a decade ago, WWE sending belongs in trash bags has been going on for some time, with other members of WWE management apparently only now becoming aware.
