Triple H took part in a Q&A session earlier today to help promote NXT TakeOver 31. During this, he briefly discussed Velveteen Dream and how his immaturity has affected his career.
Coming off of what was a bit of a rough year for Velveteen Dream. Reorganizing himself, you know? Dream is one of those young guys that still hasn’t quite found his way yet of who he wants to be. I think sometimes that weighs on him. His immaturity in his life presents itself in his professional life and makes it difficult for him sometimes. Triple H
For those unaware, Velveteen Dream had serious accusations made against him both before and during the Speaking Out movement earlier this year. WWE says they carried out an investigation and found no evidence of any wrongdoing. It was thought these allegations were why he missed two months of television. However, it was apparently due to a car accident where he failed to stop at a red light and ended up hitting another car, which put him out of action.
