Chris Jericho has had a few different entrance themes over the years, but since his arrival to All Elite Wrestling, “The Nueve” has used two FOZZY tunes, “Judas” and “Spotlight,” for his walks to the ring. At Friday night’s Ring Of Honor “Final Battle” pay-per-view, however, Jericho walked to the ring to the tune of Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York.”

AEW/ROH President Tony Khan explained the decision for Jericho’s entrance at the “Final Battle” media scrum. “Well for the King of New York, I thought it would be very appropriate,” Khan said. “Chris Jericho, ‘The Neuve,’ is the King of New York, so what better way for him to come to the ring for his championship match than ‘New York, New York?’”

Khan continued: “I thought it would be something special and it came out great. It was a great part of the presentation. Since we all woke up in a city that never sleeps, we wanted to play that song. And it was a great moment and something special for Final Battle.”
