Following this week’s episode of AEW Collision, AEW President Tony Khan officially confirmed on X.com that Blake Christian is officially “All Elite” and signed him to the roster. This came after an impressive tag-team performance with Lee Johnson in a $200,000 four-way match. The 28-year-old former WWE talent has appeared frequently in AEW since his 2022 debut, indiating that he had previously been working on a part-time contract rather than a full-time one.
Blake Christian, real name Christian Hubble, first debuted in January 2017 after training at SWAG Wrestling in Tennessee. From there, he rose to prominence on the independents, notably in GCW. Additionally, he had brief stints in TNA, NJPW Strong, and in WWE as Trey Baxter on NXT before his release. Returning to indies, he debuted in AEW on Dark and soon after joined ROH, where he has become a regular on Khan’s second promotion.
