Bryan Danielson is still very much All Elite despite not having wrestled since his defeat to Jon Moxley at WrestleDream last year. And now, having appeared behind the announce desk on occasion, Tony Khan has taken to X to announce that the American Dragon is going to be a full-time member of Dynamite’s announce team from now on. What this means for the other members of the current commentary team is unclear, but it’s speculated that he’ll take Tony’s Schiavone spot so that he can focus on Collision.
44-year-old Danielson was considered one of AEW’s biggest stars, having joined the promotion the same year he headlined WrestleMania 37 against Roman Reigns and Edge. However, his run was continuously interrupted due to various injuries, including a broken arm and a broken orbital bone. Therefore, given that he also has a significant neck injury, it’s probably for the best that he takes time to heal fully and can then potentially wrestle the five to ten matches annually that he has previously stated was his long-term goal.
