In shocking news, Anthem Wrestling Exhibitions, LLC, the parent company of TNA Wrestling, has filed a lawsuit against TNA Hall of Famer Gail Kim in Nashville Chancery Court. The suit follows Kim’s March 2025 release and her threat to pursue claims under the Florida Private Whistleblower Act, Florida Civil Rights Act, and Title VII. Anthem seeks a declaratory judgment that Tennessee law governs disputes under her contract and that she was an independent contractor, not an employee. It’s unknown whether Kim has been served, but no court date has been set yet.
Gail Kim had a storied TNA career spanning multiple runs from 2005 to 2025. She debuted as a valet/manager for America’s Most Wanted in 2006 and later became the inaugural Knockouts Champion at Bound for Glory. At present, she holds the record as a seven-time Knockouts Champion in addition to being a one-time Knockouts Tag Team Champion with Madison Rayne. Then, in 2016, she was the first woman inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame and served as a producer and worked in talent relations until her March 2025 release.
