The wrestling community was shocked when TNA fired Gail Kim in March, marking the end of her 14-year tenure with the company. And now, during an interview with Ariel Helwani, TNA President Carlos Silva has addressed letting the former WWE star go, calling it “the most difficult decision I’ve had to make so far in running TNA.”
Following 48-year-old Kim’s shock departure from TNA, it was reported that she didn’t get along with TNA Executive Producer Ariel Shnerer, and rather than choose one over the other, Silva fired both. Still, after Kim stated on Instagram following her firing, “This is not the end of Gail Kim in the wrestling world,” it has been reported that she has been backstage at several NXT tapings, indicating she has landed on her feet.
