TNA’s roster is continuously changing, with talents coming and going seemingly during every taping. And now indicating that approach isn’t changing, Fightful Select has reported that former AEW wrestler Bear Bronson is in talks to work their upcoming December 6 Impact taping in El Paso. Additionally, it was noted that if things go well, it could lead to a signing, which would be great news for the 30-year-old former tag team specialist.
Bronson, real name Joe Fitzpatrick, broke into the business via Pat Buck and Curt Hawkins’s Create A Pro Wrestling Academy back in 2015. From there, he formed the tag team Bear Country with Bear Boulder (real name Thomas Wansaw), and by 2020, they were working for AEW, eventually being signed after MJF urged Tony Khan to offer them contracts. Subsequently, the duo was renamed the Iron Savages and featured in AEW’s sister promotion, ROH. However, after Wansaw was arrested for domestic battery, the pair separated, with Fitzpatrick saying he was “sick to my stomach” by his partner’s actions.
