Last week, wrestling fans were shocked to discover that Anthem Sports & Entertainment had fired TNA President Scott D’Amore. Subsequently, it would be reported that a key factor in his removal was that he had been pushing for an increased budget, which TNA’s parent company was against. And now it has been confirmed that Ed Nordholm, who previously operated as TNA’s President, is also no longer part of TNA’s management setup, although, he remains working at Anthem Sports & Entertainment. Precisely why Nordholm isn’t going to be involved with TNA going forward remains unclear, although it is believed he was very close to D’Amore, so that could be a factor.
